On 17 June 2026, KDDI Hong Kong Limited (KDDI) and PERSOL Consulting Hong Kong Ltd. (PERSOL) successfully co-hosted a seminar titled “AI時代における人員構成・人材マネジメント、IT・デジタル基盤のセキュリティ対策セミナー” at the KDDI Hong Kong office in Quarry Bay.

Opening

1. Changes in Workforce Structure and Talent Management in the Age of AI

PERSOL highlighted how AI is transforming workforce structures and talent management strategies.

Organizations are shifting toward hybrid workforce models. At the same time, automation is reshaping existing jobs by reducing routine tasks and enabling employees to focus on higher-value activities like decision-making and strategic work.

To adapt, companies must redesign their HR practices, e.g. redefining roles, updating evaluation systems, and strengthening workforce planning and upskilling, to proactively prepare for AI integration.

2. Cybersecurity Measures for Expanding AI Adoption

KDDI shared the growing importance of balancing AI adoption with cybersecurity.

While AI usage is rapidly expanding across organizations, many still lack proper governance, increasing risks such as data leakage. At the same time, cybersecurity threats continue to increase, including ransomware, supply chain attacks, and newly recognized AI-related risks.

To address these challenges, organizations must implement clear AI usage policies, strengthen governance frameworks, and enhance security measures.
