KDDI Shanghai authorized as first Japanese Gold Partner in mainland China for RPA product “UiPath”

KDDI overseas subsidiary KDDI Shanghai Communications Engineering Co. (HQ: People’s Republic of China, Shanghai, Director-General: Seiichi Nakagawa) on Dec. 28, 2018, was authorized as the first Japanese Gold Partner in mainland China of UiPath SRL *1 (HQ: Romania, CEO: Daniel Dines).
UiPath Inc. (HQ: United States, CEO: Daniel Dines) is a leading company in the field of robotic process automation (RPA), with some 2,500 companies worldwide, and over 800 companies in Japan, using their services. KDDI Shanghai has entered into a contract agreement with UiPath as a reseller in mainland China, and through provision of the “UiPath RPA Platform” has improved the business efficiency of many corporations. On Nov. 15, 2018, UiPath SRL’s first seminar on the Chinese mainland, “UiPath Together Beijing” was held, and KDDI Shanghai, as a UiPath partner representative, introduced UiPath solutions and example cases. As RPA is recognized by more companies in the inland areas of the Chinese mainland, expectations are rising in its effectiveness as a tool for increased business efficiency.
The Gold Partner authentication awarded to KDDI Shanghai is the top-level UiPath partner authentication, awarded to partners with engineers who have sufficient knowledge about the “UiPath RPA Platform” to provide support for its implementation.
KDDI Shanghai has begun to offer a startup kit that allows simple and fast introduction of standardized automation robots for work such as that involved in accounting and research, which are areas for which customers frequently seek automation solutions. Through its various locations within China, KDDI will continue to support the use of RPA to make business more efficient, reducing wasted effort and mistakes, and strengthening companies’ profitability.
